Hi everyone, my name is Kayla and I’m a 19-year-old Communications undergrad from the University of Maryland, the new social media intern for Kindred Bookshop! I love reading and books, especially with characters like me! With this love for books, creativity, and a passion for getting more books about POC by POC, I intend to help Kindred Bookshop build a vibrant and inclusive community. For this internship, I hope to serve Kindred Bookshop and it audience with what I’ve learned this school year and hope to gain more knowledge through this experience. It's an honor to be working with Kindred and representing this awesome bookstore!
