Welcome to Kindred Bookshop! We are a Black feminist online bookshop based in Raleigh, NC dedicated to empowering readers, authors, and entrepreneurs with diverse experiences and traditions. What started as a vision in 2020 and intentionally built into an online bookshop in 2024, our vision and work are actualized through the dreams, inspirations, and empowerment of our vibrant community of kindred spirits.
Throughout our site, you will find our curated collection of 100+ new and used books; merchandise and gifts designed and created by Black & Brown, women and non-binary, NC-based and Southern, and LGBTQ+ artists; and events purposefully created to help our folx be in community with each other.
